Hola! My name is Christopher Jarc, aka Jarc the Shark. I am the man behind the move, HeelSlapChestPop. Isn't it just fun saying? Go ahead. Say it out loud. Heel Slap Chest Pop. Are you smiling now?
That's what I am all about - HAPPINESS! I feel that too many people are stuck in their day-to-day lives worrying about things from their past or things that they need to do tomorrow, and unfortunately they are missing out on what is going on in the here and now, the present moment, where life is happening.
Being fully present in the moment is what makes me happy, and throughout my day I enjoy sharing that happiness with anyone and everyone who crosses my path. Funny thing is, I am not trying to be happy. I just am happy! Like an ocean wave doesn't chose to be a wave, it just is. HeelSlapChestPop is a movement into happiness I like to say. It brings a smile to your face and changes your present moment which you will then carry with you throughout the day. And then hopefully down the road your smile will change someone else's day.
Why am I on GoFund Me? Because I need help sharing happiness throughout the WORLD in all my adventures!
In 2012 I sold my house, gave up all of my possessions and purchased a one way ticket to Costa Rica to see the world. Whoa! What a decision! My life was set on fire by the support of a good friend's unwavering belief in me who told me to go out and explore. And explore I did!
I had experienced traveling throughout North America as a truck driver, but seeing life through the lens of a completely different culture was super eye opening. Ultimately, I found that being immersed in different cultures opened me up to new ways of being, making me a more grateful person. I began to stop and watch the sunset every chance I got. I enjoyed the breeze on my face. And I jumped in that ocean no matter what. I began to live each day with a smile.
So ultimately I got rid of everything and carried with me one small bag that I called my "life bag". I had everything I needed inside of it to enjoy a happy and comfortable life. People couldn't belive it. One bag?! Yup one bag with all of the essentials needed to live. That's because I believe in collecting memories and experiences, not things - like that feeling you get when that one song comes on, or the time you look at a map and realize, "Wow I have been to all those places!".
So with me and my "life bag" and all of your support I completed my pilgrimage! The many lives affected with the HeelSlapChestPop happiness was incredible and I made so many life long Friends!
I made it to Jamaica to meet with some incredible people and now am exploring Germany! Any and all help to spread love and happiness is greatly appreciated!!!
