Healing for Rowan

Dear Friends and Family! It is hard to believe that Rowan's last round of chemotherapy is tomorrow!  What a journey this has been for my little niece, and her family: from the shocking news of Wilm's cancer the day before Thanksgiving 2012, to the surgery to remove the tumor less than a week after that, to 18 intense weeks of chemo! We so deeply appreciate the incredible outpouring of love, support, prayers, wishes and fundraising which has really helped to alleviate this family's out-of-pocket expenses due to this crisis.  

Tomorrow April 9th, Rowan faces her most intensive dose of chemo to date, and your prayers would be so appreciated as she struggles through the nausea, vomiting, and exhaustion over the course of the next several days. Rowan will continue to be monitored very closely until she is 15 with blood work, ultrasounds, and x-rays as the norm.  So although the battle through surgery and chemo is almost over, Rowan and her family face years of further tests and medical expenses to hopefully keep Rowan cancer free.
