Hi, my name is Hayley Fahey! I am a singer-songwriter, full-time college student, music instructor, photographer, and musician working hard to pursue my dreams. I have been playing and writing music since a very young age, and now I am recording a full-length album. My music is about real life: the struggles and the joy, and I hope to share my positive messages with a wider audience through this album.
The CD is set for release near the end of 2015.
I am fortunate to have the opportunity of working with John Trupp, a singer-songwriter, producer, and former studio-musician who has worked with multiple Grammy-award-winning producers. John has been featured on MTV, was part of the nationally-touring group New Potato Caboose, and is a native of the DC music scene. He is also a graphic designer, and designed the logo for Grammy award winning studio Shuman Recording. John is an integral part of the album process, recording, producing, and playing much of the instrumentation.
My main instruments are vocals, piano, guitar and I can play some mandolin, ukulele and drums. John is a talented multi-instrumentalist and is playing drums, bass, guitar and more to create a fuller, more dynamic sound on the album.
I am very excited about this album and hope that you are too! The reality of it is that costs associated with the album production can be expensive. I am working hard to manage school, my three jobs, and music, and hope that you will help support me with my debut album. Any amount you are willing to give will be greatly appreciated. The money will cover some of the costs associated with production, mixing/mastering, studio musicianship, graphic design and creating physical CDs.
I truly believe that music can change the world. We need more positivity and love here on Earth, and I hope you can hear that in my music and are touched by my songs.
