Hey there! My name is Julie and I blog for a website called Happy Home Fairy .
I started the blog after my first son was born and I realized that being a mom is no easy task! I instantly wanted to make sure that other moms didn't feel alone on the journey. There are also so many pressures on moms today that sometimes we forget to laugh and have fun - I wanted to help moms find easy ways to celebrate the little things of life. I provide FREE Printables, holiday tradition ideas, simple crafts, quick recipes, silly stories about my 2 sweet sons, and faith-filled reminders of Jesus' love.
6 years later I am still faithfully blogging and I love every second of it. However, I have a dream to make my blog into something that will allow me to earn an income and help support our little family. I am a preschool teacher and my husband is a worship pastor, so you know we're bringing in the Benjamins -ha! :-)
In order to begin this process, I need to hire someone to help me migrate my blog to a self-hosted site so that I can add advertising opportunities. I will also need to hire a designer to help me make Happy Home Fairy a more attractive, fresh, and organized resource for my visitors. It is very important to me that the ideas I share are presented in a way that is easy for readers to find and enjoy - without a lot of scrolling or searching. With over 1,000 posts, this process is expensive and we need YOUR help to get started.
My goal is to raise $7000 to cover the costs of hiring a designer and setting up the new site. This is a big chunk of money and a HUGE leap of faith, but I believe God is calling me to do this - helping moms is what I am most passionate about!
Walt Disney once said, "All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them." Today I am choosing to pursue my dream of being a writer and encouraging moms all over the world to build a happy home. :-)
