We are David Hamblin and Annie MacKay. We have qualified to represent the USA at the World Artistic Roller Skating Championship in Mouilleron Le Captif, France, from October 1 through October 14, 2018.
We qualified as the Silver medalists in Junior World Class Team Dance at the 2018 USA Roller Sports National Championship. David also qualified as a solo skater in Junior World Class Men's Solo Dance. This is our first time competing at the World Championship!
We are excited to represent the United States, the Northwest region, and the Oaks Skating Club at the international level. However, training, travel and lodging costs are substantial. We will be fundraising by hosting a French-themed dinner, as well as other fundraising opportunities. Both of us also have part-time jobs to help support our dream.
We ask you to help us reach our fundraising goal by late September. Every little contribution counts! Thank you for your consideration, and go team USA!
