A show for students made by students, HUMANITY, is an original theatrical dance production that combines movement, music, theatrics, spoken word and American Sign Language to address multiple social issues including: suicide, LGBT rights, sexism, racism, domestic violence, human rights, addiction, stereotypes, bullying and deaf awareness.
Last year, an audience member brought her granddaughter, a high school freshman, to a production of, HUMANITY. After watching the production, her granddaughter was so moved, she opened up to complete strangers and her grandmother about how she was being bullied at her school during our talkback session. Weeks later, her grandmother expressed her gratitude, because she had never heard her granddaughter speak of being bullied before. Now they have the opportunity to talk about her experiences and have grown closer because of this.
Over the past 2 years, the HUMANITY team has traveled throughout the Michigan and Chicago, IL areas spreading awareness and inspiring positive communication just like this moment between the granddaughter and grandmother.
By donating, YOU can be a part of our movement and help the HUMANITY team travel and spread our message to Roosevelt University in March 2018! Here is what your donation will provide:

We truly appreciate your time and consideration! If you cannot donate, a share would be just as appreciated.
