The Feisty Older Women of Oz showcase their Award-winning show
‘DON’T KNOCK YOUR GRANNY’
at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival
Don’t Knock Your Granny is a highly entertaining cabaret, a political parody that brings elder abuse out of the shadows and into the spotlight.
The show is funny, moving and enlightening.
Who we are
‘We’re political, satirical, and sometimes even lyrical.’
This formidable group of older women, aged between 60 and 90, write and perform all their own material. They’ve been treading the boards for more than 30 years and regularly tour Australian cities and regional areas. Their shows highlight issues that impact older women through story telling, songs and skits. Now they’re ready to take on the world. First stop the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Message from our Patron, Dame Quentin Bryce, former Governor-General of Australia
+On elder abuse: ‘Its pervasive, it’s insidious, and it’s got to be stopped.’
+On The Feisty Older Women of Oz: ‘I congratulate you on the strident messages in this show. There are lessons here for all of us, no matter how old.’
