Goldsmith Elem Positive Incentives
Goldsmithdolphins.com My name is Sara Guetig and I am a Coordinator at Goldsmith Elementary School in Louisville, KY. Our school is an International/Cultural Studies and Language Magnet Program. Our students represent over 70 different countries . In addition, 86% of our student body is eligible for free lunch services, and 15% of our students have a learning disability.
We celebrate the diversity of our community and recognize the achievements of our students with positive behavior incentives. We are developing a program to provide each child with a lanyard that will hold reward pins for categories such as: good citizenship, perfect attendance, homework club, honor roll, student of the month, most improved, etc.
Because many of our students are first generation immigrants and/or live in a lower socio-economic area we don't have the fiscal resources needed to support this program. We are depending on donations from the community. Please consider contributing to a program that will reward respectful, responsible and ready to learn children.
