Goldens Bridge Improvement Projects

The hamlet of Goldens Bridge feels it is the forgotten community of Lewisboro.  It has survived a highway splitting it in half more than 40 years ago and the noise and pollution that goes along with having an interstate running though its front yard.  Since then, it has been used as the commerical hub of Lewisboro without any thought to the quality of life of the residents.  The residents of Goldens Bridge feel they must take on the job of improving their community and preserving its history and natural beauty without the Town's assistance. 

The Goldens Bridge Hamlet Organization was formed as a 501c3 not for profit entity by a group of caring people who love living in Goldens Bridge and want to make it inviting to everyone.  

We are hoping to raise operating capital with this page.  If every resident donated a few dollars for us to cover the various costs associated with running a non-profit and getting information out to the public, we could be the little hamlet that can.  

Our costs thus far have included fees to obtain non-profit status, insurance associated with this as an organization, mailings, posters, informational hand outs at our meetings and a plethora of little expenses here and there that we have been covering out of our pockets.
