Jon and I are doing it again, Pedaling w/ Purpose, and we're inviting YOU, our friends and family to Participate as Partners in this fun-d raising 2014 Mission Possible Tour that we've themed
"Facing Your Fears."
When – November 2014
Where – We're triking / cycling the 500 miles from Key West, Florida to Orlando ... and yes, this WILL include the 7-MILE bridge, and then some!
Who – It's just Jon and I on the trikes, but prayerfully you will plan to “go with us” on our mission to raise some of the 2015 operating funds for God’s Hands Agency .
Keep in mind that your year-end gift will help to support the many on-going mission ministry outreaches we strategically make available for the Deaf, Youth, and Families.
What – This 2014 Mission Possible Tour is our 3rd such missionary journey. And this year's message for the masses is how to live FEARLESSLY with six distinct Scripture verses for support (see the Fearless below).
Why – Because we've been commanded to “Go ye therefore ...” See Matthew 28:19. AND we're raising friends and funds for the on-going mission ministry outreach programs of God's Hands Agency, Inc., a federally recognized non-profit / 501(c)(3) where your donations are always needed, appreciated, and tax deductible.
HOW – Jon has written and professional recorded all 6 of the fearless verses in a fun, interactive, jingle kind of way. So, during The 2014 Mission Possible Tour "Facing Your Fears" we'll be strategically sharing this powerful resource, along with hundreds of hand-crafted Gospel bracelets, and so much more. As this is THE Gospel: The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

So, WHY should you give to support GHA's ongoing mission ministry outreach programs?
REASON #1
90% of deaf children are born to Hearing parents, but less than 10% of those parents will ever learn enough sign language to be able to effectively communicate with their child.
GHA's Solution – We sponsor and/or support FREE community-based sign language leaning opportunities through: classes, workshops, and train-the-trainer supports designed for: Teachers, Parents, Families, Friends, Community, and YOU.
REASON #2
Finding work can be challenging for a Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing person(s). Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing persons may experience discrimination, both before and after finding employment. An employer or co-worker may be uncomfortable with deafness. As a result, this may also means that many CODAs (Children Of Deaf Adults) may experience living in poverty and/or homelessness at an alarming rate.
GHA's Solution – Strategic leveraging of resources and partnerships for passionate leadership development. These opportunities are designed to assist the Deaf in learning and developing skill sets whereby they can obtain gainful employment and/or create self-employment opportunities for themselves.
REASON #3
Less than 2% of the Deaf worldwide profess to be Christians.
GHA's Solution – We have an organized method of assisting churches in establishing effective ministry to and for the Deaf AND their families. We also host and/or promote Professional Development for the Christian Interpreter, Interns, and Sign Language Students.
In addition, we sponsor several mission-minded events annually in our efforts to assist the Deaf in developing and growing in their personal relationship with Jesus. Actually, this is the heartbeat of all we do.
Jon and Earline Blumhagen, proud parents of 3 grown and gone adults, 2 of whom are Deaf, are the co-founders of GHA, Inc., est. 1999. The Blumhagens have dubbed themselves The WiFi Pedalers (Word Inspired Family Involvement) cyclists that Pedal with Purpose.
Strategically serving as full-time Missionaries of Development for the Deaf, Youth and Families, since 2010, The WiFi Pedalers are committed to spreading the message that Fearless Living IS Possible!

Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Kids. The loneliness and frustration of family holidays when you are a d/Deaf child and unable to communicate with cousins and adult relatives....it can be VERY frustrating.
Or imagine, if you can, what it must be like growing up HEARING with Deaf parents? It CAN be a very challenging, but rich experience. These kids are called CODAs / (Children Of Deaf Adults),
GHA's Solution – DECAF, a fun, safe, productive environment for ALL kids. That's right, and DECAF is much more than a cup of coffee. It's Deaf Events Community AND Family, and it takes place monthly.
We sponsor and strategically support many awesome family focused outreach for kids, tweens, and teens to include: Spring Break events and activities, Summer Camp, Day Trips, BBQ's, TEAs, The Resurrection Party, “Hearing Me” Annual Christmas Party, and much much more!

Have you ever wondered how common domestic violence and sexual assault of Deaf women is?
Sadly, according to a Deaf Social Services Agency, HALF of all such women experience domestic violence in their lives, translating into one in two deaf, hard-of-hearing, or deaf-blind women being victimized. One in two!
GHA's Solution – Much Prayer, Strategic Education, and Support Services are offered through GHA’s LAG (Look At God) program. We boldly do the hard work of what we call “A Mess Ministry” daily.
We also sponsor an on-going Christian Book Club called the Deaf & Signing DIVAS / DSD. In addition, we have a training program, mission-minded travel opportunities, and a very effective Speakers Bureau for Deaf Women, and so much more. (See Revelation 12:11)
