A quick recap: from the beginning of 2009 to this summer, when prolific monster Donald Trump was pressured into making a donation to veterans' groups he'd long promised, do you know how much he personally gave to charity?
According to the research of the great David Fahrenthold, in those seven years Trump gave a total of ten thousand dollars. Which leads to two thoughts:
1) Really, dude? That's it? Gross.
2) We can beat that.
Let's beat that! All donations here (minus GoFundMe's 4.25% cut) will benefit RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network), America's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN, which works with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country, offers programs to support victims, prevent sexual violence, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice. According to Charity Navigator, 91.7% of RAINN's budget goes toward its programs; RAINN was named one of "America's 100 Best Charities" by Worth magazine. A donation will help people in need, and will add one more pebble on the avalanche of humiliation that awaits Trump in November. And as a bonus(?), for every $5,000 that is raised, I will publish one page of "Groovy Movie," an unfinished screenplay by Trump's doctor Harold Bornstein.
