Get Karle Back on Track

Hi Everyone!

Firstly thanks for taking the time to come here and see what help we are asking for.

My friend Karle has had a terrible couple of years with illness and injury. As a Postman his physical ability is one of the most vital attributes needed for his job.

After a couple of nasty foot and ankle injuries and an almost life threatening bout of severe asthma; this January he had a trip whilst working and little did he know at the time, but he broke his spine!

It turns out that due to this fracture he will most likely have to find a different job and training in his beloved martial art Bujinkan is out of the question for the foreseeable future.



He is currently in a back brace to limit mobility to allow the spine to heal but this limits pretty much every activity in life, including the ability to walk his and his wife Odile's beloved 'Fur Kids', the dogs; Hoban and Kaylee.


If this isn't enough of an emotional strain, the sudden loss of income and the fact that the system we pay into all our working lives is utterly failing to come through for them at this crucial time, is devastating!

I wanted to do something and whilst racking my brains decided that as I am in training to become a DDP Yoga instructor, I could push my body to the limit for the benefit of my friend. 

I am proposing to attempt to do 8hrs straight of DDP Yoga workouts in an effort to raise as much money for Karle and Odile, Hoban and Kaylee as I can.

Arthurs Story 

Why this strange form of workout you may ask? I am doing this because it's a system that has proven to help people get back strength and fitness when they think there is nothing out there that they can do. This has been absolutely true for me.

It is a cardio vascular workout mixed with Yoga so a one hour workout is no picnic, 8 hours, well that's gonna be tough!

Karle is keen to take up DDP Yoga once he is strong enough, to help in his rehabilitation. Therefore, what could be more fitting to help him get to that point?
We want to help take some of the stress out of the financial worries so that he is able to focus his mind and body on healing up, getting strong and getting back on track!

I will be doing this on Sunday 27th May and portions of the day will hopefully be live streamed in some way. I have invited guest DDP Yoga instructors from around the country to join me for parts of the day, to help keep it interesting, keep me up and running and keep the workouts varied.

Please give what ever you can , no matter how small an amount. My friends have had such bad luck of late and I for one want them to know that there is some positivity out there still and that people care, even people they may not even know.
