Help Fritz Walk Again

Fritz was brought into South Sound Critter Care by a Good Samaritan who saw him get hit by a car. Fritz was unaltered and in bad shape when he arrived. SSCC was able to treat him and after a month of searching for his owner to no avail, SSCC took ownership of him and is trying to get him fully recovered and up for adoption. Fritz has a spinal injury that is preventing him from walking like a normal cat. A specialist has been consulted and treatment plan has been discussed. Fritz still has movement in his hind legs and scoots himself around very easily, this is a good sign for recovery. You can see how he still moves this legs and can walk with assistance. Our goal through treatment is to help Fritz walk without assistance. The specialist would like to do a stem cell injection into Fritz’ spine, the treatment has had very good success rates in improving spinal injuries such as Fritz' injury. With this treatment we are in high hopes that Fritz will walk well enough to be able to be adopted into a very loving home. The procedure costs about $800 with about $200 additional for checkups on his progress.
