Hope for the Children of Tbilisi

My name is Jon Shearer and I seek your assistance to help bring hope and opportunity to the young children of the former Soviet Republic of Georgia.  I am raising money for Natasha Epremidze who diligently dedicates her time and efforts to teach English to Georgian children who would otherwise be unable to pay for language lessons.  

I raised our goal from $5,000 to $7,500 on 7 July 2018 due to your generosity!  The money will be used in 2018 to purchase language materials, supplies, and to pay for cultural enrichment field trips in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi.  Our intent is to provide these children with the English language skills, knowledge, and cultural sensitivity necessary to become successful in life.  

As a frequent visitor to the beautiful and culturally magnificent country of Georgia for the past 18 years, I have seen how difficult it is for Georgian children to rise out of the grip of poverty to gain opportunities in life.  As a former U.S. military attache in Tbilisi, Georgia, I can personally attest to the integrity and work ethic of Natasha Epremidze.
