Why am I raising money for Georgia?
This beautiful soul, Georgia, has recently been diagnosed with cancer, which has resulted in her having to leave her career as a Psychologist to take the next 6 months off work to undergo her first round of chemotherapy.
Georgia has dedicated her entire life to helping others. Not only is it her chosen career path, but she is always the first person that her friends and family will turn to when advice or support is needed; so now it's time for us to return the favour!
Georgia's ability to find the silver lining in every gloomy situation is like none-other. You could step in dog sh*t and she would find a genuine positive to the situation -and this cancer is no exception. She has been exceedingly positive about this and even talked about the ways this suffering will help others! Incredibly selfless, commendable and inspirational.
BUT there is one thing that she is worrying about... As she will have no income, she will struggle to pay rent, bills, buy groceries and other annoying adult expenses, and the very last thing she needs in her life right now is additional stress . Plus, she's going to need to purchase a couple of cool wigs and beanies to look like a complete model in ;)
This incredibly beautiful and giving woman now needs us to give back. She needs everyone's support to be able to focus on healing rather than late fee's. To be able to focus on a holiday after this shitstorm and maybe even that Boxer puppy she can't stop talking about!
Let's make this rollercoaster a million times smoother for her, and in turn, make the recovery process quicker!
