George LeClaire's medical expenses

George LeClaire, a photojournalist for 20 years at the Daily Herald, can no longer perform the job he loves due to several severe problems with his spine and shoulder.

He has not been able to work in a year and is behind on medical and other bills.  George needs funds to pay for last year's medical bills and ongoing therapy.  George's savings has been depleted due to his medical bills. Currently George only receives a disability check once a month.

Over the years, George has had an impact on not only the Daily Herald, but the entire Chicagoland photo community, having taught photography at various schools in the area.
