Dream South America Backpacking Trip

For as long as I can remember I have wanted to take a backpacking trip, but had struggled to figure out exactly where I wanted to go. All I knew was my desire to discover the world around me and learn a little about myself in the process. It needed to afford me the opportunity to give back to the world that has given me so much and foster the growth of my perspective as a human being.

After much careful consideration I landed upon South America. This beautiful and rugged continent manifests everything I desired from this experience and I could not be more excited about the choice. Together with my boyfriend Jackson, I plan to spend my last summer before entering the real world conquering Chile, Peru, and Ecuador. All of which afford us the opportunity to explore, volunteer, and learn far outside of our comfort zones and immerse ourselves in their cultures. Additionally, I am beyond excited to use my proficiency in Spanish to talk with locals and make new friends along the way.
