GW Club Rowing Fund

Donation protected
The George Washington University Rowing Club (GWRC) is committed to bringing competitive and recreational rowing opportunities to the GW student body. The Club is a non-exclusive organization offering rowing instruction for all GW students with varying levels of physical ability. We believe that the benefits of recreational and competitive rowing, such as discipline, camaraderie, and fitness should be open to students of all skill levels who do not want to compete at the D1 level, but instead at the club level. We are an entirely student run sport club program at the university.

GWRC gives the opportunity for those who used to partake in the sport, or those who want to pick it up, the chance to get onto the water and experience all the great things the sport of rowing has to offer.

This is now our second season rowing and we have a wonderful team of about 25 people, comprised of both experienced and novice rowers. We have made a lot of progress this year and we are currently in the process of moving our boats from The National Harbor to Thompson Boat Center on the Georgetown Waterfront. This is an extremely exciting move for us as our boats will be much more accessible and we will be able to practice more frequently. The new facilities require higher rent and as a new club sport we have a limited amount of funds. This is why we would greatly appreciate any support and donations.  All of the money we raise will go straight towards our rent and equipment in order to keep the team running. Please consider donating! ANY donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference!
