Glebe Rowing Club (GRC) is the third oldest rowing club on Sydney Harbour and was established in July 1879 in Blackwattle Bay.
The present rowing shed, opened in 2001, stands as a tribute to the generous support of the local community, past and present rowers and friends of Glebe Rowing Club.
As a community club our coaches give their time unstintingly, on a voluntary basis, to help juniors and people from the community to improve their skills and enjoy this healthy outdoor sport. However, the motors on some of our tinnies are old and unreliable. We are in desperate need of new outboard motors so that our coaches can accompany members around Blackwattle Bay without fear of breaking down and being stranded.
