Goshen Humane/much needed gates!

Much of the fencing we have at Goshen Humane Society is refurbished fencing (reused.).   Many of the gated doors in our yards are very unsafe, damaged and are taped with duct tape.  They need to be completely replaced.  This is fundraiser that is longer term as we can't really replace them until the nicer weather most likely - probably late April when hopefully the spring rains have settled.  A couple of the dogs have actually cut themselves on the doors because they are so damaged and some of the gates have separated so much that a couple of the dogs heads have gotten through and there have been some injuries.  Our main fencing is fine as it is commercial, however when our dog addition was put on about 5 years ago, when it came to the gates/doors we resorted to using refurbished gate doors that were donated from years before and they were residential grade - basically the dogs can snack on residential grade.  This is not a "want" for the shelter but a necessity.  We take a lot of pride in that we spend a tremendous amount of time with our dogs outside socializing, doing agility and just down time.  We need to make sure they are safe..  If you can donate a few dollars, we are very grateful.  Please These are just some of the pictures that show how unsafe the gates are in our yard.  American Fence will replace all the gates on the shelter property with commercial grade well fitted rectangular (not rounded) gates.  It is obvious that several of these gates have gaps that allow a full size dogs head to get through.  What this means is that we can't put dogs out unattended because they could stick a leg through the gate and it only gets worse after that.  The dogs love being outside.....these gates/doors have been in place for about 10-12 years and have out worn their welcome...so to speak:). They need to be replaced for the safety of the dogs, volunteers and the employees....and also any potential adopters that come to the shelter.  Anything helps and we are very appreciative!  Thank you!
