This weeks Match Challenge is the 2nd week for the Low Brass.
All gifts given during the period of 12/14 through 12/20 will help the Low Brass (Trombones, Baritones, and Tubas) to win their challenge. They are are hoping you will give whatever you can to help them win the competition.
You can help. $5, $10, $20 gifts will make the difference to meet this match! Support for each area is based on the giving during each groups designated match weeks. (See the bottom of this page for the 2 designated weeks for each area.)
About the Grove City High School Marching Band
The Grove City High School instrumental music program has approximately 300 wind, and percussion musicians who participate in various performing groups. These groups include the Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Concert Bands, Jazz Bands, and Percussion Ensemble. There is also a Flag Corps who perform with the Marching Band and participate in Winter Guard competitions.The music department strives for excellence in all areas of its performing ensembles and stresses the importance of learning and enjoying music as a part of a student's well-rounded education.
About the GCHSMB trip to the Tournament of Roses Parade:The Grove City High School Marching Band has been selected to march in the prestigious 2017 Tournament of Roses parade. This is a great honor, but getting all of the students, staff, chaperones, instruments, and the rest of the equipment to California is expensive. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for our students as they will never be able to go again in their HS career. We don't want any students left behind, so we need your help.

9/20 – 9/26: Mellophones, Saxes, & Field Commanders
9/27 – 10/3: Trumpets
10/4 – 10/10: Clarinets
10/11 – 10/17: Flutes
10/18 – 10/24: Percussion
10/25 – 10/31: Color Guard
11/1 – 11/7: Color Guard
11/8 – 11/14: Percussion
11/15 – 11/21: Flutes
11/22 – 11/28: Clarinets
11/29 – 12/5: Trumpets
12/6 – 12/12: Mellophones, Saxes, & Field Commanders
