Help us keep kids off the street by sending them to the Fun Creative Writing "Become A Movie Critic" writing camp. This camp is open to children in grades three through eight.
During the summer months, many children are left unsupervised without access to school lunches. We are happy to offer our summer camp scholarships to disenfranchised youth. At our summer camp, students will improve writing, critique a movie, and enjoy a nutritious lunch all from the comfort of an air-conditioned movie theater. With your help, we can offer our week long summer camp scholarships to nine deserving students. Please say you'll help.
About Our Camp
✓ Campers express themselves creatively with writing games and challenges.
✓ Fun creative writing assignments engage our students and strengthen core writing skills.
✓ Sharing of ideas and writing, because it's never too early to learn how to present work to an audience.
✓ Easy going, open environment where creative kids can shine.
✓ Learn how to ace writing assignments by adding critical writing curriculum components.
✓ Campers learn to initiate, plan, develop, organize, and edit their own writing.
✓ Through collaboration and group activities, our campers create friends and form bonds with other creative students.
