Hello,
My name is Cory Knowles and I am currently on a roadtrip across the county. I recently quit my job and sold my car in order to fund what is supposed to be a 60 self-discovery/hillarious mini-doc through a series of post on Facebook and Instagram.
This trip may seem like a vacation but it is far from that...I have set out in-order to complete something big in my life. Staying commited and completing things has been an issue for me since I can remember. School, jobs, relationships, etc. I also hope to grow as an individual and become more like the man my father is and less like the boy that I am.
I know it seems a little, what's the word, self-centered, of me to ask for assistance with my own personal journey but I have reached a point where finances have desipated and in order to fullfill my goals, I am in need of some assistance.
I have intentions of creating and self-publishing a little roadtrip journal that will highlight and share my most precious memoires and will contain helpful cross-country travel advice. Everyone who is able to donate will eventually recive one of those journals along with your choice of a print from one of my many amature photos.
To this date I have driven over 2000 miles and I have only just reached Central Wyomming. I'd like to be in Maine by October 17th and complete my journey (or find something substantial) by November 20th.
The funds recieved will go towards the following:
70% - Food, gas, campsites.
10% - Extra equipment (i.e. new tent, camping supplies.)
10% - Potential rent or "get set up" fund.
5% - Back up emergency fund (flat tire, cracked windshield, etc.)
5% - Exciting adventures for us to share together but me in person.
