Meet Ronnie and Phyllis.
Ronnie has been a active fire fighter for over 30 years in his home community . He is an extremely dedicated husband, grandfather, Uncle and fire fighter. When Ronnie is not at home taking care of his family he is always looking for ways to help his community whatever the task.
Phyllis is a wonderful wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. Along with her husband, Phyllis is also a member of our Ladies Auxiliary.
Recently Phyllis became ill and like most has had her ups and downs with both good and bad days. There have been planned and unexpected trips to the hospital and doctor appointments which are located in New York City. She has been referred there by her local doctor knowing the doctors in New York City can provide the best care for her illness.
These trips require multiple days in the city along with copays and medication costs and we all know just how expensive that is just for a weekend. Now imagine having to do that several times a month! That quickly adds up on top of your regular household and daily expenses.
The members Schuyler Heights Fire Company are asking for your support, we would like to be able to help this family who has become “our” family throughout the years. Just a small donation will be a huge help and every penny raised will go towards medical expenses for Phyllis and her road to recovery.
