The Fearless Education Foundation (non-profit Charity in the USA EIN: 46-0957970) is a community of people that believe education is vital to succeed in life. We are passionate about contemporary and self education. Our mission is to help support young people who need assistance to pay for schooling and provide them with Entrepreneurial education to help them reach their goals & dreams.

We have many touching stories we could she with you, stories mixed with tragedy, goodwill and happiness. We want to share 2 of these stories with you now.

Take a look at the picture below:

Meet Kam!

Kam is one of our first scholars at The Fearless Education Foundation!

Kamezele Mathias was born 8 years ago in Kamuli a district of Uganda. Kam's favorite dish is Matooke (sweet potatoes and gnut paste) He loves playing football with his best friend Kamezele James. He has four siblings and he lost his dad in 2011 and now lives at his grandfather's home with his mother. He is in the second year of primary school and he wants to be a doctor. His mother is a trained nurse but doesn't have a job, which is very common in this area under these economic conditions. His grandfather was a government/civil worker, now retired, he gets some money from the government every month and uses this money to support a household of 7. On many occasions Kam has been sent back home from school for failure to pay dues in time.
When asked how he wants to be helped he mentioned buying him books, helping his mother pay fees and buying him hospital equipment. When chatting with Kam's mother she mentioned how he on many occasions asked her when he will ever make it to Makerere University. Most of the time Kam's mother tries to avoid the question coming up, she want's the best for Kam as any loving mother would. However, she holds back tears and replies with, "God will make a way."

We have had a heart for education and people for many years and now with our non-profit efforts we are expanding our efforts The new vision is to expand and support more young people that cannot afford to pay for basic education.

USE and UPE(free education) are present but you will find that the schools are under equipped. You will also find that some parents cannot even afford one dollar to give basic requirements like books. Not even the required small fee for meals. Most families don't have the funding for schooling so young people go without school and try to find a job and there isn't an abundance of job openings if you don't have a good education.

Recently, Joy gave Kam words to read and he couldn't. Then she gave Shaun his cousin from Kampala who attends an accredited school and he could read everything and are at the same school level.

Kam only bowed his head down in embarrassment as Shaun happily shouted the words out loud. Soon after Joy raised his bowed head and into his teary eyes she ask, "Kam, why are you so sad?" Kam replied, "Joy, do you think I will have the same chances in life?"
It was at that moment that we saw the reason why these young people need our help.

What we have discovered is that this not only sets a child back from moving forward in life, it also creates an inner Fear, a feeling of defeat that makes a young person wonder if they will ever make it in life. No young person should live in this fear.

That's why we are stepping up to do something about the fear in these young peoples lives. By providing education, motivation, hope, belief and an opportunity to succeed in life it is my desire to lead this organization to helping thousands of young people breakthrough these barriers of fear and feel the freedom education can bring.

We ask that you support our efforts of bringing better education to Uganda, Africa by donating to the cause. We are raising $10,000.00 to jumpstart the foundations efforts to create individual sponsorships and in the efforts to educate more young people.

This is a great way to leave your mark, show you care and better yet just get that good feeling that you have made a difference in a young person's life.

When you donate today it will not be just for this campaign. This is a startup foundation, so your donation today will be seen from our future efforts that will be posted on our website that is going live soon. http://www.FearlessEducation.org

We ask that you support the mission by giving today.

We are looking for individuals who are motivated and willing to help reach our goals to enhance the lives of others. If you want to help please contact us to donate, volunteer or receive updates on the efforts.

Say Hello to Sophie & Maria!

The day started off with a burial ceremony, over an hour of prayer and songs and passages from the reverend and then came the food.

It's not your typical ceremony that you maybe thinking of however, I found this one to be more comforting than others I have attended. After homemade food of beef, rice, Irish potatoes, and of course Matoke (staple food for every meal) I again opened up my arms to little children, all girls with cute dresses, just drawn to me. It must be my "little girl" wanting senses that have them running up to me with their arms wide open.

We hugged, laughed, took snaps and played cards. A few of them I have already known from previous hangouts... Get this, i attempted to show of my magic skills, failed completely to the point this young girl named Sophie turned to me and said, "you're not a very good Magician are you?" I laughed out loud and said, "well well aren't you smart about these tricks, yes I'm not that great it's true it's been a long time since I have practiced im sorry.

Wait here..."

After leaving my audience of 3 little girls waiting for a minute I returned with some gum to make up for my crappy magic performance. This made their day. New friends made. Those same girls were here again today. And we spent most of the day together playing cards. I got up and walked away for a bit to chat with Joy and they came looking for me saying I was being called for...

At first I thought it was the reverend or land lady looking for me but better yet it was my little girl friends wanting more of my time. At the end of the day, before leaving Maria did that she had never done before... She pulled me aside, away from the small crowd that gathered to leave for the day... As she tugged on my arm for me to come lower I knelt down and she whispered in my ear... Thank you for playing with us.

Tears filled my eyes right away as they do now again...

Responding you're welcome, she looked at me, as if she wanted to hug me or say something more... I asked her, in Luganda, "what is it?"

She responded, "Do you have a "set"?

A set?

A set of what I asked... "A set for mathematics"

Now, earlier in the day Sophie shared with me how one day she would be going to Oxford university... She said it with a boldness, with determination and no fear in her voice. It was right there I saw the next young, 10 yr old candidate for the Fearless Education Foundation.

When she asked me if I had a set for mathematics I knew this young girl was serious about her education. I shared with her that I didn't know what a set was but I would ask Joy. Joy did tell me. It's a small box used in math class that contains a pencil, a compass, an angle, an eraser and a few other things for math classes.

After Joy shared with me that it was 5,000 Ugandan shillings = $2.00 - I said I'm picking one up tomorrow morning. But then shortly after, while in deep thought about it all I said

"Wait!!!" what if we supplied the entire school with them!!!

That would be even better, that would be going above and beyond.

Now the truth is God has blessed me because I have been a blessing and still practice often. However I also thought this would be a good opportunity to have in the Fearless Education Foundation and have other givers be a blessing and be blessed in return. So I decided to send this to you and others that are interested in the foundation and the power of education.

So here is how you can be apart of the giving of "sets" to entire school this coming week. It's simple, simple go to this site >> www.gofundme.com/FearlessEducation - donate any amount you wish and also send a picture of yourself to us.

Because I would like to show off your picture, pass it around to show the kids who has contributed to their education and I will be sure to get some snaps back to you and how happy and thankful they are.

How does that sound?

So keep this in mind it's $2.00 per student and there are 70 students total. That's $140 to make an entire school happy for a whole week and expand their education. And bless your life out for the day, week or month.

P.S. If you know someone who likes to help children out like this please pass it along.

P.P.S. Here is the link to use, it still has Kam's photo on there but the foundation still provides education. I will be uploading new pics soon. >> www.gofundme.com/FearlessEducation
