Help children See “Black panther”

Donation protected
The release of Marvels film “The Black Panther” is a rare opportunity for the youth to see a black major cinematic and comic book character come to life. This representation is truly fundamental for young people, especially those who are often undeserved, unprivileged, and marginalized both nationally and globally. Clarkisha Kent of TheRoot.com writes about the importance of the black panther film “Black Panther remains socially and culturally because in imagines a world where black people continually triumph over the influences of capitalism, western imperialism, and white supremacy.” Read more: http://www.theroot.com/wakanda-forever-on-the-importance-of-black-panther-1820459283 .

All proceeds will go to paying for the screening tickets for children and chaperone, as well as refreshments. The release of the film is February 16, 2018, and we will attend screenings the following day 17th - Monday 19th (Presidents’ Day).

Cost breakdown:

-$9.00 per child ticket
-$13.00 Per chaperone ticket
-$10.00 per child refreshment
-$10.00 per chaperone refreshments

*The remaining balance of the proceeds will go towards the Organization*

We of course appreciate the joining of us in the support of our youth and hope to continue the #BlackPantherChallenge in other areas to encourage togetherness in seeing this film.
