FABENS FORGOTTEN CEMETERY

The mission of this group is to bring the final resting place of many of our fellow Fabenites and relatives back to a respectable condition.  Located at 901 NW 5th street in Fabens, Texas lies a 6.06 acre cemetery that has been neglected and we wish to stop the vandalism and desecration of the remainder of the property by cleaning it up, marking the graves and marking the boundries. The ultimate goal would be to erect a fence and a memorial to honor the souls whose earthy remains were left here.  This initial fundraiser is for the purchase of the materials needed to accomplish our goals only and all work will be done by voulunteers.Fabens' Forgotten CemeteryTTheJust as clarification....Of EACH donation GoFundMe takes 5%                           Your credit card Company takes 2.9% + $0.30Making the TOTAL FEE for each donation   7.9% + $0.30                                                                                   ~ SO~If your donation is $10.00 "Fabens' Forgotten Cemetery"  is receiving  $8.91 after fees.   Please don't let this discourage you from donating....if you are a local volunteer you may donate directly to your volunteer group lead and eventually at the bank directly. But for those of us who wish to help and do not live in the area,  this option is the best choice.  I will wire transfer all monies collected through GoFundMe (minus fees) directly to the First National Bank in Fabens once we have established the account.
