Kerri's F*$# Tumors Fundraiser

May 16, 2019 and we are in the surgery prep area as Kerri is awaiting the second awake brain surgery within a month.

Diagnosed with Stage IV Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) after surgery #1 on April 18, 2019, Kerri has had a whirlwind of a month.

She has an amazing team of medical professionals that have quickly become her personal fans and advocates. She won them over during surgery #1 with a lot of laughing, singing and cursing.

GBMs are not curable, but have become more manageable with the amazing advances in medicine. Kerri will have a long future of treatments and scans and doctor’s appointments.

The best way that you can help is to provide whatever financial support is manageable. The cost of surgeries, recovery, transportation, prescriptions... the list goes on... is never ending.

Original post for April 18th surgery...
Our wonderful Kerri underwent brain surgery on Thursday, April 18th.

After experiencing a headache that would not go away for 2 weeks, our Super Woman knew something was wrong and went to the doctor. After a CT Scan, she was admitted to the hospital and scheduled for surgery.

The surgery was a success!

Kerri will need some help for the next few weeks and into the upcoming months. Healing from brain surgery is a long (and costly) process that we want to make as easy as possible for her.
