Ellie's Exciting Elective to Vietnam

Hello everyone, in July 2019, I will be embarking on a once in a lifetime trip to Hue, Vietnam. I will be spending 4 weeks nursing in Hue Hospital, this opportunity will allow me to experience the cultural and medical diversity working with healthcare professionals in a very different environment caring for those less fortunate than ourselves. 
I have trained at the University of Portsmouth, 2019 is my final year of being a student nurse, this opportunity will develop my nursing practice in areas that I love working in.  


Where will your donations help?

Any donations no matter how big or small will be very much appreciated.
Your donations will go towards medical supplies that I can take out with me to support local hospitals and schools.
A trained medical mentor will be appointed to me, to support my learning for 4 weeks.
Donations will also contribute to the Work the World scheme in providing accommodation and food for the month. 

All donations will be gratefully accepted.
I will have the opportunity to practice as a student nurse 2 weeks on a Cardiovascular ward then 2 weeks in A&E, two areas I have loved from my training and wish to use this experience to further my knowledge and experience on my future career as a nurse.
