Orphaned Children of Baja Mexico

Most of us want to do something that gives us a sense of purpose or truly matters to someone in need. With life's pressures, responsibilities and our own daily challenges, it is tough sometimes to think of others or to even have the time to contribute on a larger scale. Many get overwhelmed and believe whatever they do won't be significant enough which can be furthest from the truth. What if I told you that every dollar counts since it takes only $2 to buy 3 hot meals and a few hrs of your time on Saturday can mean the world to an orphaned or abandoned child in Baja Mexico? What we do:
We donate our time, professional expertise, resources and supplies by raising funds, to help feed, provide basic necessities and education to orphanages in Baja area. We used to collect supplies and other donations but due to changes at the border with what we can bring, the easiest and most cost-effective way is to collect funds and let the orphanages buy their supplies down there...cheaper too which means your donations make a bigger impact.

If you can't join us on the monthly bus trips lead by a great foundation we partner up with to spend a day with the kids, or go with us on our private trips, you can help us by donating funds and sharing our posts to ask your friends and family to get involved.

Why does this matter?:
Mexico does not have a foster care system or subsidized program to support neglected, abused or abandoned children. There is also no welfare system or financial assistance from the government...the only way to support children in need is through charitable donations, getting involved through organizations that already help (most from US), churches or going down there directly. These kids are only few minutes from the border, trapped in the cycle of poverty, forgotten by most and helped by few. No child should feel unwanted or left behind.
