Einstein’s Quest, Featuring Romanieo Jr: A Student’s Epic Expedition to Reconfirm The General Theory of Relativity, July 2, 2019.

**Our first goal for this “Epic Expedition” is to raise $10,000 by May 30th, 2019 to cover our costs to travel and conduct the experiments in Chile. Our stretch goal is to raise at least another $10,000 by June 6th, 2019 - this will allow us to fully capture our experiences and successfully translate them into educational products in multiple formats (documentary/docuseries/vlog/podcasts).
Thank you to Meade Instruments - Official Telescopes & Optics Sponsor
We would like to first thank Meade Instruments for their support of our work as a Brand Ambassador Family over the past year and a half and for their partial sponsorship of our Epic Expedition to Chile.

Thank you to our Funders
As a special thanks to those who choose to support this project, we will be releasing a bouquet of 100 balloons (100 @$100) into the Atacama Desert to commemorate this monumental community achievement. Each funder will have either their name or company name printed on the balloon and we will film the release to show our gratitude.

Category Groups for “Thank You Balloon Bouquet”
Color = Group = Amount
Black = Galactic Group = $10,000+
Gold = Exosphere Group = $5,000 - $9,999
Silver = Thermosphere Group = $1,000 - $4,999
White = Mesosphere Group = $500 - $999
Yellow = Stratosphere Group = $250 - $499
Red = Troposphere Group = $100 - $249

The Big Science & Background
We are interested in replicating the confirmation of Albert Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity (GTR) during the total Solar Eclipse this coming July 2nd in Chile. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the confirmation of GTR by Sir Arthur Eddington. However, we are not a major research institution or lab, but a homeschooling family who have taught and raised a son Romanieo Jr., (now 9 years old) who has been recognized as a Global Science Ambassador for his mastery of particle physics and organic chemistry.

“The Next Einstein”

He was called “The Next Einstein” by the Washington Post, and to date is the only child on record to have received VIP Invitations and tours of three of the world’s most prestigious scientific centers:
CERN, The European Organization for Nuclear Research in Geneva, Switzerland; Particle Physics
NASA - invited to 5 separate sites across the United States, and; Space & Aeronautical Sciences
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory; Nuclear Fusion

Project: "Einstein’s Quest” featuring Romanieo Jr. We are seeking sponsors for this trip, wherein we would conduct small science experiments and film our time in Chile for an educational documentary or docuseries that would be produced for global, family friendly audiences. We have assembled a remarkable set of science advisors (see list below) to test the following:
1) To identify better methods to teach GTR earlier to younger children, in effect by doing some of the component steps of confirming GTR.
2) To determine whether or not —given the level of advancement in personal/consumer telescopes and digital cameras — we can replicate some of Eddington’s findings
3) Perform as many experiments as possible in the Atacama under a beautiful canopy of stars.
