EAGLE SCOUT MILITARY FLAG PROJECT

$1,055 of $1,400 goal

Raised by 27 people in 47 months

My name is Devin Prock and I am a life scout in Troop 182 in Olathe, Kansas. For my Eagle Scout project I have chosen to complete a project that will provide folded American flags to be carried in the pockets of our military personnel serving on the front lines. My goal is to fold a total of 3,000 flags. I plan to have a large work day at my high school where we will not only fold flags, but be able to teach others about our nation’s flag and the proper way to fold it. I also plan to have a work day at a local VFW. All money raised will go towards the purchase of the flags, the accompanying cards, printing and postage. My project will be completed in support of those who defend our freedom and our country.

I just received an update yesterday from USSOCOM headquarters and I will be shipping flags to units in 13 countries! Postage will be the final cost that I will need help covering. Please donate to help me close out the final portion of my project. Thank you for your continued support - Devin

I am a Sophomore at Olathe Northwest High School and I am working on my Eagle Scout project. For my project I will be folding pocket flags to send to military personnel serving our country on the front lines. They will also be receiving a card thanking them for their service and any volunteers that help out can write personal messages to the soldiers on the back of the cards. I am having a work day at the high school in the flex theatre on March 14th where volunteers can come in, fold flags, eat some food, talk to friends and listen to the music. My project includes anyone that is willing to help in the community and I would like to get the word out in order to achieve my goal of folding 3,000 flags.

Thank you,
Devin Prock

My name is Marissa, my hubby Dave Haigh received one of your flags. I sent a FB message to a Darrin Prock which I believe to be your dad. Has pics and a thanks! Dave just wanted you to know it meant a lot to carry that little flag during some pretty crazy times.
