Our First Restaurant!!!!

My name is Jamie. My fiance and I have been given a huge opportunity to open our first restaurant, and we aren't sure about using a private investor, someone who would be in a position of control over things that we may not like, such as the quality of food.

Our philosophy is simple; Local, fresh ingredients, supporting the local farmers and produce companies, and hand making everything. We have nearly 20 years of culinary and restaurant experience between the two of us, and that's a huge head start versus most who venture into this crazy world of foodservice. Then menus are written, the vendors have been chosen, now it's time to get to work! This campaign is to help us make our dream come true, and put home-cooked food in the mouths of a public so desperate for something not pre-made or fabricated. If successful, all donors will recieve a hand-written menu with our notes, and I will offer any culinary support asked. Thank you all!
