Legacy Project
You are invited to become a part of the continuing legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and all who fought and sacrificed for the cause of justice and equality during the modern civil rights movement. Today we are faced with many of the same challenges. These challenges must be addressed through continued education; continued support for those less fortunate; and the elimination of impediments that stand in the way of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all.  We must continue to move forward!

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. embraced love as the ultimate attribute necessary to achieve unity, peace and equal treatment under the law.  He along with those in the local community and churches contributed greatly to the modern civil rights movement; yet the city of Montgomery does not have a memorial to honor and remember the contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and all the foot soldiers who contributed significantly to a greater city, a greater state, a greater nation, and a better world.  We are asking for your financial support of the statue and aforementioned programs to create a lasting tribute to a man and all the foot soldiers who gave their lives out of love for the cause of civil and human rights across this nation.
