This is our family's humble plea to help our dear Diane and Kevin restore their lives piece by piece. Diane's abrupt visit to the ER a few short weeks ago turned our world upside down.
As most of you may know, Diane suffered an unexpected life altering event. She was admitted into the hospital with acute heart failure which prompted an emergency triple bypass heart surgery. The following day there were complications due to more vascular blockage in the main arteries to her legs. After finding her legs were paralized and with no pulse and a 50/50 chance of amputation, she was then rushed into another life threatening surgery . By the grace of God and all of your loving prayers, that second surgery to save her legs was a success!
This precious woman endured more than we can imagine during her stormy hospital stay. She was a miracle in all of her surgeons' eyes and came home after just two weeks. Now comes the hard road to recovery which will entail many months of doctor's appointments and extensive physical therapy to regain full function of her legs and the ability to walk again. When that is accomplished, she will begin her cardiac rehabilitation, which will then require many additional weeks of therapy.
These two people are the most kind and generous people you could ever have the pleasure of knowing. They are always willing to give no matter how great a sacrifice for them it may be and now they are in great need. Most of us live paycheck to paycheck and we know what a terrible blow 5 weeks of no pay can be. Even as Kevin possibly goes back to work next week, Diane is unable to. Like many of us, they can not afford what our government calls “affordable medical insurance” and keep a roof over their heads at the same time.
It will take a miracle to raise enough money to pay the medical side of this and we are asking for your prayers on this matter. In the meantime, there’s another miracle that we can actually be a part of and that is helping to keep their home, vehicles, electric, water, phones, food on the table, and especially the therapists to rehabilitate her as we wait patiently to see how God will tend to the rest of the medical bills.
We as a family are humbly reaching out for financial support. We have done what we can so far, but we have barely scratched the surface as to what is needed to get Diane the treatment she so desperately needs and deserves.
Please be a part of this miracle in action and kindly give what you can to this most loved couple to help support the relief of this unbearable journey they are currently fighting to get through.
