My name is Ann Paul Goberdhan, Auntie to our beloved Dominic. Many of you know how my nephew was taken from us in a very cruel, brutal, and calculating way. He was only 18 years old, taking a maiden trip to Guyana, SA, where he met his God brother to explore many things, including his heritage and his love for photography and video/film making. Two people have now been charged with the murder of Dominic in Guyana.
Linda and Andrew will have to fly to Guyana at some point in time, to bring home Dominic. So, this campaign is to help them with the expense of air fare, accommodation, funeral parlour & relateable expenses; the impending trial, potential legal fees, etc. The list could go on. Funds are needed now! The UK authorities are accommodating in minor ways, but not assisting in any way financially.
We are a FUN and LOVING family, and we will do ANYTHING for ANYONE. Now is the time that we need to show our support for Linda & Andrew. Share this campaign in any way you know how. We can ease their suffering in a way where at least they would not have to worry about future expenses. Let's do this!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I know we will get a great response. That's just what we do in times of need. God bless you. Love, Ann xo
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:29-31 KJV

Today (Friday 22nd July), Linda and I will once again make the long journey to Guyana. On Monday 25th July I will stand in front of a Magistrate and the public in a courtroom and give a statement about my son Dominic. This will be the 5th trip to Guyana since Dominic's death. I cannot describe how this has been such an emotional roller coaster and not only mentally and physically draining but also financially.
To all our family and friends can I ask you to pray for us to have a safe journey and especially can I ask you to pray for me to be able to keep my composure and articulate clearly the details to the magistrate.
Thank you all again for your support.
it's been a while since I posted anything.
Still struggling to come to terms with life since the death of my son.
Anyhow, for all those who could not make it to Dom's Life Celebration Service we have at last finished a video of the service made from the audio that was recorded by the church. Please share the below YouTube link with your family and friends who would be interested.
Thank you all again for your support.
We cannot thank you enough for all your prayers, thoughts and donations. We still have a long way to go but will do whatever it takes.
Love and best wishes Andrew, Linda, Rosheen and Madison x xxx
Dominic’s ‘CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE’ will be on Saturday 21st May at 10am at St Paul’s Church, Northey Avenue, Cheam, Surrey, England.
We are asking those that can join us to wear colour please, as we had 18 wonderful years and feel so very blessed to have him and to see him grow into the wonderful young man he became. For catering purposes, we ask you to email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and contact numbers. We are having the Caribbean food Dominic really enjoyed very much!
We still have the trial ahead, so our outlook is a long road ahead. It looks as if we shall be in Guyana again in June. Of course, we are as yet unsure of when the full trial will go ahead or indeed for how long, but our peace for now is the perpetrators are in prison and will remain so.
The importance for us is to not look further than Dom’s celebration of his life and be thankful to God that this awful and unimaginable nightmare has some closure for the time being with our much loved boy Dom finally being home.
We are so grateful to God for the strength and peace He has given us through these last 7 months and we look to our Lord for continued peace and strength through our son’s internment and on to the trial that lays ahead in Guyana in the near future.
Last but by no means least, thank you all for your words of encouragement, prayers and your generous donations that have allowed us to travel to and from Guyana and the many other expenses incurred. We ask God to bless you as you have blessed us.
Kind regards and much love,
Andrew, Linda, Rosheen and Madison
My deepest condolences to the Bernard family. May God continue to give you the strength and support you need to get through this. If my heart is so broken after hearing of your son I cannot imagine what you guys are going through. Heaven has gained another Angel. I'm so sorry for your loss. RIP DOMINIC BERNARD.
The passing of Dominic leaves a big hole in our heart. It is difficult to understand why these dreadful and evil things happen. All we can pray hope for is the peaceful resting of his beautiful soul. Those that we love and lose with never really be lost. As long as there is a memory. They will live eternally in our hearts. Our prayers and thoughts are always with Andrew , Linda and the entire Bernard Family. Always now and forever your cousins the Hall and Baker Family xxx
