 Devon McKinnon Memorial Fund

Recently deceased Walter Devon McKinnon, Jr., who was found (missing since Jan. 10, 2016) on Jan. 15, 2016 dead in the St. Johns River in Debary, Fl. Devon leaves behind two children: a 4 year old boy (Vinee, who’s mother Amanda Hunt, passed away in 2012) and a 15 year old girl (Alayah). Devon was the breadwinner of his household, in view of the fact his mother Ramona Wadlington has not had full time employment since December of 2013. Ramona who has been battling chronic asthma herself, has spent the better part of the last 2 ½ years back and forth to Philadelphia, Pa being a care giver for her 80 plus years old mother who was battling stage 4 cancer. Her mother passed away in Nov. 2015. During the span of her care giving, Ramona lost her job and hasn’t been able to secure any type of gainful employment. Devon picked up the slack.
With the events which have recently transpired, Ramona who is currently facing foreclosure on her home and needs resources to provide a proper home going service for Devon. The funds raised would be utilized to provide an appropriate funeral and burial for Devon, provide finances to assist the family transition through rough times and set up a college fund for the children.
On behalf of the family we would like to thank everyone for their love and support during these trying times and would like to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude.
