Denice Edgar House Fire Fund

My sister Denice has spent all summer and her entire career fighting fires.  She saves peoples lives, homes and land with the US Forest Service. Last night her own home was burned to the groud by a wildland fire in Horse Creek California.

My name is Niki and my family is starting this fund for my sister Denice, cousin Shelby and their best friend, Faith. They lived together in Horse Creek, California until their house was completely burned down. They lost everything. Denice is a fire fighter for the US Forest Service, like our Dad who passed away a few years ago. She constantly risks her life to save the houses and lives of others and now she is a exactly like the victims she tries so hard to protect. She has been fighting the fires all over the United States this summer and offered her own home in past weeks to fire fighters in the area needing a shower or place to eat. They were about to go on vacation because Denice was finally rewarded with much needed break.  They are homeless and without anything; food, clothes, toiletries, furniture, dog food etc. They narrowly managed to get away from fire with their dogs and our father's watch. They have to begin life from scratch and desperately need help. This was their dream house which has now been reduced to ash. If anyone has an RV that they will not be using for this winter, please let us know. Any donation would be greatly appreciated, no matter how small.
