David & Jenny Burn Unit Survivors

Dear Family, Friends and Supporters,
This past Saturday, November 4th, my brother David and his wife Jenny had a terrible kitchen accident, while making lunch, a pressure cooker exploded boiling hot liquid. They are still lying in the hospital burn unit healing from 2nd degree burns. David sustained injuries to the right side of his face, stomach, chest, both arms, and hands. Jenny’s injuries are to her face, chest, shoulder, arms and wrists. I will not be posting pictures of their injuries out of respect for their privacy. They are both in good spirits under the circumstances. David and Jenny have two beautiful young boys, Andre age 6, and Josiah age 4, who were home during the accident, but thankfully unharmed. We are still unsure how long their hospital stay will be, and they will also have after care expenses.
They are the best people I know and do not deserve to go through so much pain. Let’s help them all we can so they don’t have to worry about medical bills and can focus all their attention on healing. El pasado sábado 4, noviembre de mi hermano David y su esposa Jenny tuvo un accidente en la cocina terribles, al tiempo que el almuerzo, una olla a presión explotó hirviendo líquido caliente. Todavía están mintiendo en la unidad de quemados del hospital que se está recuperando de quemaduras de segundo grado. David sufrió lesiones en el lado derecho de la cara, el estómago, el pecho, ambos brazos y manos. Las heridas de Jenny son en su cara, hombro y muñecas. No voy a publicar imágenes de sus lesiones por respeto a su privacidad. Ambos están de buen ánimo bajo las circunstancias. David y Jenny tienen dos hermosos niños pequeños, Andre edad de 6, 4 y Josiah de edad, que estaban en casa durante el accidente, pero afortunadamente ilesos. Todavía no estamos seguros de cuánto tiempo será su estadía en el hospital, y también tendrán gastos después del cuidado.
Son las mejores personas que conozco y que no merecen pasar por tanto dolor. Vamos a ayudar a ellos todo lo que podemos para que no tenga que preocuparse por las facturas médicas y puede centrar toda su atención en la curación.
