Dear friends,

My wife, Darjaal, has stage 4 cervical cancer that's spread to the chest and pelvis. Right now she is going through radiation and chemo and it's not intended to be a cure, her oncologist has actually encouraged an integrated approach to really make any difference.

We need your help, to make this difference a reality. A machine has been purchased (and needs to be paid off) that deals very powerfully with her specific type of cancer, (close to $5000) as well as on going medical costs, supplement costs, child care for 2 of our 3 kids, fuel costs (daily trips to Iowa city 1.5 hrs away), special dietary needs and more.

As many of you know Darjaal is a devoted Mother and an inspiration to many. She deserves and needs to stay on the planet, to have fun with her kids and bring them all sorts of wonderful places and to continue to interact and inspire the people who come into her life. She loves life and lives for love.

This is a very critical time for her healing. She needs to be very regular in her medical and supplements routine to overcome this stage of the illness.

Thank you so much for your support.

Dara

Sitting with Darjaal, she's in Hospice over a week now. Her time with us is coming to an end, her body is tired and she just wants to go. So I'm asking for all those who know and love her, it's time to let her go. So let's shower her with love and release her.
She has been fighting for well over 2 years to stay with us, and despite the challenges, it has been so worth it. She will be leaving behind 3 very bright and beautiful children, I'm confident everyone will be ok. For myself I'm thankful to have shared my life with someone with such an expanded vision and an intelligence and beauty to match. And what a gift that I get to look after our beautiful children and see Mikayli blossom into adulthood.
The last few months have been the most bizarre I've ever experienced. I left Fairfield Iowa, to look after Darjaal full time here in New Jersey, bringing our 2 young kids with me. A few weeks ago, the level of care needed was too much for me to provide and I had to make the decision to hand it over to medical staff, and between my Mother-in-Law Nancy and myself we have spent as much time as possible with Darjaal while having the kids do as many fun things as we can manage. They continue to amaze me through all this.
I know pretty soon, there will come a day when her body will no longer be with us, and it breaks me up. Then I just remember daily talks with ours kids recently . Darjaal told them early on, that whatever happens she will always be in their hearts, and it brings them such comfort and understanding. So if it helps, because I know so many people have love for Darjaal, know that the infinite love she shared will always remain, but right now her body is ready to fly and we need to let her go.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support. I plan to leave this site open for a while, if anyone wants to support our transition in moving forward.

Most of all, thank you, we love you. Darjaal loves you.
Love Dara. ❤️

Hi again, Dara here, thank you all so much. To everyone following Darjaal on Facebook you know the latest news, and the shock we received in late January.
January 26, 2015, Darjaal went into the local ER, with severe headaches that wouldn't stop and nausea, and knowing something was really not right. I followed soon after, and before long it was discovered that Darjaal had multiple brain tumors, which a straight talking ER nurse described as catastrophic. Seriously brain cancer… WTF… After all she has been through.
Further test confirmed that it did not look good at all, but they managed to ease the swelling on the brain somewhat.
Only Darjaal could actually manage to have fun through a life-threatening illness, so for a week, she danced and played with the kids, had games with friends, and had lots of sweet times with us all, and rested and researched as much as possible.
A week later, Darjaal took off with a friend, totally Thelma with Louise style, amidst a huge winter storm, to Chicago airport, determined to attend an appointment in New Jersey, the next day. We had both heard about a clinic near to where Darjaal grew up that may be able to help. Thankfully it is helping, and she is making progress and while it may take some time, I'd like to do whatever I can to make sure she stays on the planet once and for all without any further complications.
There is a huge sense of relief knowing that she is in good hands, feeling good and making progress, which is a miracle really. Thank you for all the prayers, good wishes, food, help with the children and support of any kind.
From my side, it's been a financial nightmare. I'm at loss for words really. While working as much as I can and selling all the things we can do without, it's not going to make a whole lot of difference, if you could support our family now so we can get through this time, it would help so much. So many admire the strength, admiration and unbelievable honestly of Darjaal throughout all of this so please support so she can continue to get the care she needs right now, in whatever way you can. This GoFundMe site, or http://www.medicalassistancefoundation.org/, a brilliant local organization for larger donations( just mention Darjaal) and the Meal train site currently happening, https://www.mealtrain.com/invitation/Default.aspx?id=mod1ktotjk9t
We would absolutely not be able to do this without you and all the love and support we have received. We are so grateful. Thank you all so much.
I'm usually juggling a lot of tasks these days but feel free to call or email dara.craul@gmail.com I will do my best to get back to you and I don't mind in the slightest. Thanks again for everything.
Lots of love
Dara

Thank you, Darjaal is doing pretty well, we've received a lot of help to which we are so grateful and especially to certain individuals who made it possible for us to live a relatively normal existence this summer.
It's autumn now and unfortunately we are a long way from our goal financially. Darjaal's stockpile of supplements and medicine is dangerously low and some important ones are used up already. These have been such an important part of her protocol and are so crucial to her health right now.
Down to the bare reality we simply can't afford the supplements and medicines that make up a large part of Darjaal's healing. She has been using Rife technology, a powerful machine purchased with a loan that still has to be paid off. The machine works most effectively with various supplements, and I know Darjaal has been taking smaller doses of everything in order to make them last longer which is less than ideal, specially with this machine which is very demanding physically.
Darjaal wasn't given much hope by the medical profession in her diagnosis, so going on our own judgment and some of their advice, the protocols Darjaal follows come from the ICRF(Independent Cancer Research Foundation) which have allowed her to become her strong and beautiful Self. And frankly with-out your help right now the situation can become very compromised, already it has become very uncomfortable running out of that which you know is bringing you back into a healthy state of balance.
Folks it pains me to ask, hence the delay in this update but we really need your help. Believe me I wish I could, right now have the means to give Darjaal and our family everything they need but I just haven't cracked that million dollar idea. Despite everything Darjaal continues to be positive and just makes the best of every day and loves those kids so much.
Our family car was seriously affected by all the driving to treatments Darjaal did over the summer and needs to be repaired to make any sort of journey now. After our crazy summer there is a list of things to look after but still most importantly, Darjaal and myself need your help to truly give the big "C" the heave-ho, so long, we don't need your kind round here no more, good-bye!! You get the picture, she is doing great, and stays so positive and open throughout it all. She's brave, very very brave. I for one want her to stay and grow in healthiness and give tons of joy to her kids, and have as much fun as you can fit into every day and I'm sure you do too.

Intense money stress during a time like this makes you sick literally, which is pretty much the thing we really want to avoid. Whatever you can do we really appreciate it, thank you again so much for helping us so far. You are amazing people and we are in awe of all your support. Take care and thank you.
Love Dara

Dear Friends, thank you all so much for your help and support, it's been such a blessing. Below you can see an update from Darjaal in her own words. With the first part of her treatment out of the way, it's now on to the next part. This protocol will be 4-6 months, which I would love to share with anyone who wants to know about it. Thank you for being a part of this. Love Dara

"officially D.O.N.E. with chemo and radiation. that was the most disgusting thing i ever did with/to my body and i am feeling it. grateful checking another thing off my list that under no circumstances am i repeating (like living in utopia park;) thought the latter i would do 1000 times over vs chemo/rad. gross. luckily there are probably no circumstances would i have to pick one over the other;)
so now that i graduated from that - the next phase is about recovering which, man, seems like it might take some work. i am feeling really worked over.. really psyched to get H E A L T H Y (while we're talking in big caps) and do it in a healthy way. i will tell you now, whatever happens, i am taking the 'alternative' which i choose to call and should be named the "healthy route" from now on. i have SOOO much info and sooo much support and access to some seriously awesome protocols. so if these things don't work then i am completely OK with that just being meant to be. but i really feel like it will work. it's just a process and i guess i needed to go through these last 5 weeks to be sure that i want to fully commit to this. i am ready. please pray for my belly to heal fast so i can actually eat drink healthy things without getting nauseous at the sight of them!
thank you all SOOO much for your support that helped with gas 150+ miles a day and two hotel stays for kayles and i so we didn't have to drive back twice. also thank you for your continued support to allow me to actually have a chance of healing, and getting super healthy through all the juice, food, supplements, (that are now all backed by my MD as well- i think he's as psyched as i am for me to begin this phase since he knows its the only chance i have at 100% recovery), care of my littles, etc. i can't express the blessing of not having intense money stress during this time. thank you thank you. i am really feeling the love and connection we all share. it seriously takes a village. thank you."
