Dannie Turner's Medical Fund

Donation protected
On December 24, 2013,  my brother-in-law, Dannie Turner, received a Christmas miracle: a much needed liver transplant that literally came in the nick of time. The doctors had said that he would not last much longer.
This summer and into Autumn, he has had major problems with his liver leaking bile into his system. A stint that had been put in during one of the original transplant surgeries caused problems. Now, he has bacterial sepsis which is a serious life-threatening illness. Sepsis is a potentially life-threatening complication of an infection. Sepsis occurs when chemicals released into the bloodstream to fight the infection trigger inflammatory responses throughout the body. This inflammation can trigger a cascade of changes that can damage multiple organ systems, causing them to fail.
Among many other medical needs, Dannie is having to have daily IVs that cost $2400 each. This IV sends antibiotic throughout his system in an effort to rid his body of the infection.
The money raised will be used to pay for Dannie's immediate medical needs.  Without treatment, he may not be around to watch his son grow up and to be with his family.
Your help is greatly needed and appreciated. My sister, Sherry Turner, is doing all she can to keep up with the mounting medical bills that have accumulated since Dannie began having problems in 2008.  Your gift will help ease their financial and emotional burden. Thank you so much,
