Dance Amour's New Studio in Snowflake AZ

Dance Amour opened in 2016 in a 600 sq. ft. studio we were renting from another business. While it worked for a short time, we very quickly outgrew the space. Our older dancers leap into the wall. We have had to rehearse in other facilities in preparation for our performances because our room was not big enough. Sometimes, dancers have  to practice outside in the grass to prepare for a parade since we had no room in the studio to travel. 

We started searching for a bigger facility soon after we opened. For years, we have searched to find a suitable facility. After many proposals and many disappointments, we finally found our new home! The former Shevell's building in Snowflake. It is the ideal space and a great location.  But the building needs to be completely renovated on the inside to turn it into a dance studio. 

So much goes into the building out of a studio: raising the ceiling,  building new walls, a sprung sub-floor to prevent injury from impact, wood floors, mirrors professionally installed for safety, barres, drinking fountain, decor and more. 

Although we are a for-profit company, Dance Amour strives to keep tuition at a reasonable rate so families can afford quality dance instruction.  We spend hours searching out beautiful, quality costumes on clearance so that does not become a huge burden on families.  Each year, Dance Amour puts on our annual recital free of charge so family members and the community can enjoy this entertaining, family friendly production.  

Without the traditional markup on tuition, costumes, tickets, fees and more, that does not leave much funds for the building out of the studio.

Our goal is to have the new studio finished by January 7th.  In order to keep costs at minimum, the Brinton family as well as many incredible volunteers are doing the majority of the work. 

If you could donate any amount, even $20 that would help alleviate the immense expense and help insure that Dance Amour can continue providing quality dance and arts education for years to come.
