We all know that family – the one that always gives and never asks for anything back. That family is Dan and Erica Thobe of Maria Stein, Ohio. Dan and Erica recently received the news no family ever wants to hear. Dan has a Grade 3 inoperable glioma brain tumor. The Thobes are currently investigating all medical treatment options. Dan is extremely optimistic and will not let this get him down. We truly do not believe that cancer knew who it was messing with!
Many of us know Dan as a friend, teacher, coach, teammate, parish council President, and active church member – someone who is constantly making his community better. Dan has touched many young adults through teaching and coaching from Vandalia Butler Schools, Fort Loramie Schools, and most recently Marion Local Schools. He has a way of reaching his students and inspiring them to be better, work harder, and always give back. He has earned so much respect and now it is our time to give back. Please help support Dan and his family as they fight to win this battle with brain cancer.
