Help Dallas get the best birthday present ever!!
Hey y'all,
Dallas's birthday is coming up July 14th and I've been mulling over trying to get him something he's been talking about for over a year now: a pottery wheel. Shhhhh it's a secret!
Over the past year and a half Dallas's skills with pottery have been drastically improving and getting a pottery wheel is the next big step in his dream of professionally selling his pottery. Although he still plans to continue to work at WonderRoot and utilize the space there, having a pottery wheel at our house will cut down the time it takes to travel to WonderRoot, setup and clean up. Saving this time will allow him to produce more pieces and improve his skills more rapidly without the distraction of a shared space all of the time.
Dallas's dream wheel is the VL Whisperer, which runs around $1400. It would be amazing to raise this much for him but if we fall short I'm also willing to help make up the difference!
I know y'all can see the way that ceramics lights up Dallas's eyes and the strong dedication and aspirations he has to become a professional artist. This is a great way for you to support his dreams and know that he will follow through because, well, it's Dallas, that's what he does!
