I live in Venezuela, which is the most miserable country in the world right now in 2016, for all kinds of reasons: It has one of the highest inflations in the world (500%), also it’s Capital "Caracas" is one of the most dangerous cities in the world with 300 homicides every week.
A minimum wage in Venezuela reaches 15,648 bs, equivalent to $ 15 a month for working 40 hours a week. When basic products arrive to the supermarkets, stores, and pharmacies, they have very high prices due to its shortage.
There’s a massive lack of food. Basic products like toilet paper, milk, cooking oil, bread, detergent and others, are very rare to find in supermarkets and to purchase some you must stand in long queues for hours with no guaranty you will get them. Pharmacies and drug stores are simply empty, they have no antibiotics, Ibuprofen, birth control pills not even condoms. Hospitals have no resources either.
I’m not looking for vacations or adventures but for a future. I need the money to buy the tickets to a neighbour country: Argentina, where i have some friends that can give me a hand once i arrive. The rest of the money will be spent on lodgement and basic needs while we make the arrangements to obtain residence permits, find a job and continue my studies at the local public university.
