DIVERGE Grassroots Movement
Donation protected
A project by DIVERGE Holistic Youth Empowerment.
Thank you for visiting our page! We hope that you join us in this grassroots movement to begin an organization that is truly transformational for all who participate. By donating, you are a part of the very foundation of DIVERGE Holistic Youth Empowerment. We exist to empower youth through mentoring and experiential learning to discover and strengthen their leadership potential. We are raising money to file our 501(c)(3) status with the IRS and get started with programming as soon as possible!
The co-founders have worked for over a combined 14 years with at-risk youth, and are excited to begin this new, innovative journey with you. In our first six months of existence, we hope to start a mentoring group at Morningside Elementary that will meet weekly with mentors and 10-15 students specifically chosen by school counselors and administration. Furthermore, youth will be exposed to several experiential learning opportunities in the outdoors. Finally, we will open up a weekend program that provides youth an arena outside of school and home to hang out, make friends, exhibit their creative sides, and grow.
Furthermore, we will spend most of our first years building a strong foundation and creating numerous collaborative partnerships in Tarrant County and beyond.
Our ultimate goal is to see area youth recognize their leadership potential and become the main stakeholders of DIVERGE. Please help us empower these students as they rise up and become indigenous leaders in their respective communities!
