Disabled dancer Mike,s hike in Norway for Croi Glan dance company

Hello everyone and welcome

My name is Mike Daley, I am a dancer in a intregraded dance company for abled and disabled dancers in Cork Ireland, one of many of its kind in Ireland, Croi Glan is based in cork and west Cork . Due to the economy in Ireland they do not get much government fundings. So They have to come up with ideas to raise money for the dance company. I have decided to do this hike in Norway as a fund raiser to get funds for Croi Glan. This way they can continue to show the world what disabled people are capable of and the amazing joy that it brings to their lives through dance and movement and for other dancers. Been disabled is not the end of all ends, There is so much more to us that would amaze you . The hike I am putting my heart and soul into for Croi Glan, will starts at 1000 meters above sea level in haugastol. I will dance my solo dance from a performance called Stop and Stare on the highest peak which is 1343 meters above sea level. The hike is 82 miles in total up the mountain called Rallarevegen. For me this is a big challenge because I am depending on a cane, rollator and wheelchair in my daily life to get around. I am doing this in hope for some sponsors and if this is something you would consider sponsering or aiding, We would love to hear from you. I would if you would spread the word about this amazing project and what it has to offer to all dancers both abled and disabled.  I  would love for people to see what Croi Glan has done for dancers , Pieces from delicate to intence dance performances . You can find their work on youtube explaining about the dance company and you can view their performances . They teach workshops and train all dancers and will train you if interested in becoming a professional dancer. The workshops offers dancers the space to express themselves through dance and movement through music. Through sharing their movements and love of dance , A piece gets created and shared at the end of the workshop on what they learned to an open audience . Many a time, The piece that is created moves people and amazes them special at the disabled dancers. After sharing their dance piece, it leaves people with a new perspective on dancers with disabilities .. There is a dancer in everyone

If theres anything more you need to know, please feel free to get in touch
