Humanitarian trip to the Dominican Republic!!

Thank you for taking the time to check out my mission trip page!! As you may or may not know, at the end of the next quarter I’ll be finishing up Student Clinic and transitioning into Outpatient Clinic! I’ll finally be able to take care of people around the community of Marietta, Georgia and taking one more step closer to graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic!

On September 28, 2019 I will embark on a 4 day Chiropractic service trip to Santiago, Dominican Republic. I’ll spend four days adjusting the beautiful people of Santiago with students and Doctors all across the from around the country!
In specific, I’ll be traveling with a TRIBE of 23 Badass chiropractic students from Life University. This is a group who has dedicated a significant amount of time in preparation for this trip. Physically training the skill of the adjustment, and all the components that go into it, such as sustainable biomechanics and presence. Our goal is nothing less than to serve these people at the highest levels possible. Once we arrive in Santiago De Los Caballeros, D.R. we'll be transported over to the hotel in which we’re staying and rendezvous with our trip coordinator, Dr.Peter Morgan. Chiropractic saved my life, and I have witnessed countless miracles occur time and time again. It offered me a space to heal from one of the darkest chapters of my life to bring me to where I’m at now. To me, it is the greatest gift one could possibly offer to another heal themselves without medication or surgery, and that is empowerment. We check the spine as chiropractors as it protects your nervous system (brain + spinal cord). We adjust specific segments of the spine that are misaligned due to physical, chemical, or emotional traumas. Your brain controls your perception of your reality, and the clearer picture it has, the easier it can make the adaptations in your body to thrive, instead of just survive! When brain and body are connected via the nervous system, you truly can empower someone to command their health once more and be able to integrate the BOMBARDMENT of stimuli we now face as a society.
Why do I need your help? In order to make this trip a reality it is going to require money. My goal of $1474 will cover all potential expenses...flights, food, ground transportation and lodging (4 days). Food and proper hydration is especially important given the conditions and volume of people we will serve.
