Cruize is our 10 month old Golden Retriever. In the last 4 months he has undergone 3 major surgeries. It all started out with an obstruction in his intestines as he obsessivly tries to swallow things he shoudnt, but during the first operation the vet discovered a large & abnormal amount of adhesions that form in his intestines for an unknown reason.
Unfortunately the only way to save his life during the second surgery was to remove 14" of his intestines. We were asked twice during the 5 hour surgery if we wanted to put him to sleep but we wanted to give him the chance to fight. There is no clear diagnoses yet & are beyond words that he was able to survive.
The first hospital stay was a few thousand dollars which we had already paid but after 3 surgeries the total vet bill was over $15 000 (two of the bills are attached below). He has been on special food for a few months & that alone was $800.
Our amazing vet is allowing us to make payments on the balance, so any and all donations will help towards our vet bills & continue to try & get a clear diagnoses for Cruize.
Anyone that knows him knows he is a little ball of energy, love & never ending kisses.
He means the world to us xxx
