Artist Residency Fund

Hey Everyone,

The past couple of years have been an amazing ride. In the last few months my music has been premiered in San Francisco, Birmingham, UK, and inside the world's largest indoor rainforest. (Weirdest gig ever!) Despite all that, I've received notice of my coolest gig yet and I need your help. 

I'm reaching out to help fund an amazing artist residency opportunity. I've been selected to participate in the first ever Estalagem de Ponta do Sol Residency for Contemporary Music and Electronics in Madeira, Portugal. It will be an amazing week, in a picturesque setting, collaborating with performers and composers from around the world. 

Under the guidance of the Invited Artists, performers, composers and sound artists the residency offers the opportunity to work collaboratively, to present work (or prepared repertoire), to attend masterclasses, concerts and talks, in the stunning environment of the Estalgem at da Ponta do Sol. During the course of the residency there will be concerts given by the Invited Artists ( including contemporary acoustic music as well as works with live electronics).

I was only just selected, but the deadline to pay the residency fee is December 10th! With this short turn around, I need your help! I'm asking for money to help fund the fees associated with this amazing opportunity.

Rather than simply asking you for a handout, I'm offering up my composition skills. I'm offering mini-commissions in exchange for your donations. 

For $20, I will write and record a brand new song for you and/or your friend. A great holiday gift! 

For $50, I will write a short solo work for your voice or instrument. 

For $100, I will write a short chamber work for your voice and/or instruments.

For $500 (or more!), I will write a major new work for you and/or your ensemble.
